The problem

A creator-focused venture studio that looked like a bank.

Next 10 Ventures wanted to position itself as a partner to digital creators — empowering them to build companies, not just funding them passively. But when I joined, the company's only internet presence was a grey contact-us page. That gap between mission and appearance needed to close fast.

The solution

Commission a visual identity. Build a website. Produce a brand video.

Through a series of leadership sessions, I extracted the company's core values — creator diversity, entrepreneurial spirit, educational content over spectacle. Then I commissioned a set of original illustrations, assembled the corporate website in WordPress, and produced an animated brand video (also used as a Streamy Awards sponsorship spot) from the same illustration set.

01

Values-led design

The visual identity started with leadership sessions to define what the company stood for — diversity, entrepreneurship, education — before a single pixel was placed.

02

Commissioned illustration

Original artwork gave N10V a distinctive look that didn't read as typical VC — warm, human, creator-centric.

03

Dual-purpose production

The animated brand video served two needs: a hero animation for the homepage and a 30-second Streamy Awards sponsorship spot.

◉ Process

How it came together

  1. 01

    Ran brand workshops

Held sessions with the CEO and leadership to extract the values, tone, and audience that the visual identity needed to speak to.

  2. 02

    Commissioned illustrations

Hired two artists to create a custom illustration set reflecting creator diversity and entrepreneurial spirit.

  3. 03

    Produced the brand video

Wrote a 30-second script, directed the artists to animate the illustrations, and delivered both a text and text-free version for web and Streamy Awards.

  4. 04

    Built and refreshed the website

Assembled the initial site in WordPress and Elementor; redesigned it one year later with a lighter visual direction.

◉ Outcome

A cohesive brand presence that helped N10V attract hundreds of creator applications and gave the company a visual language it used for years across all internal and external communications.
